Rosemary Goodenough is a Painter, Sculptor, Writer and Fashion Designer. Her work has been exhibited in the Biennale in Florence and in Auckland, Barcelona, Berlin, Edinburgh, London, Milan and Salzburg amongst other cities. Her eponymous brand has shown at SCOOP International Fashion Show at the Saatchi Gallery, London Fashion Week, London Fashion Week Men and in the British Embassy’s Fashion & Lifestyle Mission in Tokyo.
At an exhibition of her paintings and sculptures, Rosemary was inspired by overhearing a visitor enthusiastically looking at one of her Oil Paintings saying “If that Painting was a Scarf, I would wear it!” which led her to apply her paintings, by means of series of digital colour variations she made of her original works, to luxurious textiles as a forerunner in the ‘fashion and art’ movement.
The Rosemary Goodenough ‘Hot City’ Collections are derived by her from her Oil Painting ‘Hot City’ which depicts the vibrant horizon of a global city. We were excited to collaborate with Rosemary to create a luxury Made in UK silk blend collection, delicately knitted to include this iconic image.
Rosemary Goodenough lives in Norfolk, England with her husband, photographer Michael Waller-Bridge.
“Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, but beautiful old people are works of art. ”Favourite Quote - Eleanor Roosevelt.
