Born and raised in the heart of Rome, I decided to move to London at the age of nineteen to pursue an education in fashion. In 2012 I was awarded a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design with Distinction at West Thames College and after being offered a place at the University of the Arts of London, I am currently studying for a degree in Fashion Design and Development at London College of Fashion.
A creative and open minded approach to technical competence together with a special passion for the 50s silhouette and bold prints are representative of my personal style. Looking at past decades to elaborate more contemporary shapes and patterns has become a key aspect within my creative process. For this collection I was inspired by the 50s in Italy, the classic movie Roman Holidays, multicoloured Vespas, polka dots and timeless sense of style which may well represent the sylish, elegant yet practical modern gentleman.
I believe that style derives from our own individual ability to merge the past with the present, as a way to express our personality and creativity to others as well as ourselves.
