It has always been our belief that the little things – like socks – have the power to make a big difference. It was this conviction that led us to launch our Sock Amnesty a couple years ago.

The Sock Amnesty is a chance for you to have a bit of a cathartic sock drawer clear out while also making a positive impact.

This year, the aim of the game is to make an even bigger difference.

We need you to send us your unwanted socks. New gifted pairs that will never see the light of day? Well-loved socks that have lost their lustre? We want them all as we think it’s time the achieved a higher purpose.

After we receive your socks, we will pass them onto our partner for Sock Amnesty 2021 – The Reclaimery. This fantastic organisation works with vulnerable communities here in London to teach them the skills to repurpose garments into unique, limited edition collections with higher quality or value than the original.

Their mission is to reclaim the fashion industry and support our planet through a socially conscious system that creates job opportunities for London’s vulnerable communities. By extending the life of the garments, adding value and saving them from landfill, they are creating a truly circular economy.

Their expert hands will transform all the donated socks into functional, warm fingerless gloves and neck warmers to be donated to the homeless via the wonderful charity Crisis.
